Thank you to everyone who came out to our commissioning service. Our team was so blessed by every one of you and it was so awesome being able to worship and pray with all of our supporters. Here’s a quick recap of the night:
We began the service with praise, led by Pastor Daniel “Potter” Kim from SBMC, who is one of the leaders of the mission trip. The praise team consisted of members from various churches and it was so great seeing them serve together and lead our collaborative congregation in worship.
Afterward, Pastor Randy from The Branch shared with us a sermon about generosity and forgiveness. As we are called to God’s mission, these two truths go hand-in-hand as we are reminded of the greatest gift God gave us, Jesus Christ.
Then we had a time of prayer for our mission team as well as for our supporters. Through prayer, we are able to be united as one body as our hearts are aligned to one purpose: God’s mission. May we continue to pray for each other during the trip and afterwards so that we may continue in relationship with one another and our Lord!
Thank you once again for all of your support! Our first half team will be leaving tomorrow, at 12:45 PM. Please pray that we may have a safe flight to Thailand as well as a time for our team to bond and build relationship. A new entry will be posted as soon as we arrive so stay tuned!
